How to replace a drain motor on a bosch nexxt 100 series washer

Maybe you just need to change the motor brushes. YouTube has some great videos. Spares here on Fixya. Did you check out your filter?

I realize that this post really old but I wanted this to be available for the next guy. I bought Bosch part number 154740 which are brushes that worked for me. They will tell you it wont work but it did for my Bosch (wfmc1001uc/09) washing machine.

My bosch wok 2001 washing machine will not do anything, comes up with 07 in window, all lights flashing, was working fine till today. i've cleaned out the filter thing too.

if 07 fault is displayed that means carbon brushes on commutator are worn out and need to be replaced,

You shouldn't have to buy a new motor just because the brushes went bad, someone makes the brushes to put in new motors

Part number is 154740 around 36 dollars from http://automaticappliance.com/ How to video from YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_r8d93xPYw&feature=youtube_gdata_player Different model washer but same motor. Look up videos for how to replace the belt if you have trouble. Symptoms of worn brushes include weak or no spinning.

brushes or moter check the brushes your self they should be about 4cm long

Lots of mold and mildew stains on front door seal.

Easy, try running a cup of white vinegar thru the wash cycle. I sell and fix these and it usually work everytime. good luck

I just did this. Fitting the new brushes was fiddly but not impossible. Its easier if you remove the motor first as this makes access a lot easier.

u can sometimes tip the washer backwards and with a torch u should be able to see the carbon brushes and the 2 star screws which hold them in undue these screws and the carbon brushes will pop out very easily for u to change them m8

I came to this site to add solution anon4182 is right on to bad I didnt se his post before I start looking for brushes. If your in a hurry (like the old lady) these are available in the US but they will cost alot more. Carefull when reinstalling motor, make sura rear bracket line up .
