Plug the indicated end of the Transformer into the Rear Mech Cover . Plug the other end of the Transformer into a 120-volt outlet. All indicators and displays on the console will flash once; the console will then be ready for use. The motor may be heard while the resistance system calibrates itself. Important: Always plug in the transformer when using the resistance system.
Then, press and hold the NEXT button and the motorize resistance + button for five seconds. When the buttons are released, a number will appear in the REPS display. Press the NEXT button again, and then press the MOTORIZED RESISTANCE + button; this will start the recalibration process. This may take a few seconds as the motor moves between the lowest and highest resistance settings. When the motor finishes, unplug the transformer from the 120-volt outlet.
If you cannot hear the motor reset it self or cannot see display then with multi meter check DC voltage if not replace transformer , if you have DC voltage you will need to remove the cover locate the motor assembly disconnect the assembly from the upper electronics. Then apply a 12v DC voltage to the motor and see if it engages easily if not then replace motor. If motor functions properly replace connector back on the motor and use a multi meter connect it to motor and plug in the transformer and you should see DC voltage going to motor if not replace upper console.

MY WEIDER XP 600 WILL NOT ADJUST THE WEIGHT WLM

If you are having trouble adjusting the weight on your Weider XP 600, try the following steps:
  1. Make sure the weight stack is empty.
  2. Locate the weight selector pin and remove it.
  3. Check the guide rods and make sure they are clean and free of debris.
  4. Add the desired weight plates to the stack.
  5. Reinsert the weight selector pin into the weight stack, making sure it is fully seated in the appropriate slot.
  6. Attempt to lift the weight stack slightly to ensure that the pin is holding the selected weight.
  7. Repeat the process if necessary, making sure to choose the appropriate weight.
If the above steps do not solve the issue, there may be an issue with the weight selector mechanism or other internal components of the machine. In this case, it is recommended to contact Weider customer service or a certified repair technician for further assistance.

Loose stitches when using zipper foot.

If it has been a while since the needle has been changed, doing so may be helpful. Also be sure to use a sharp needle that will more easily penetrate the zipper tape.

Be sure that you are actually lowering the presser foot before stitching (this most likely isn't the case--just a thought).

Most machines also have a presser foot pressure adjustment that can be loosened or tightened to accommodate different thickness of fabric and the amount of pressure applied by the zipper foot on the fabric and the feed dogs. Experimenting with that pressure adjustment may be helpful.

Some bobbin cases also have a finger extension with a hole through it. If you are experiencing issues with bobbin tension, sometimes threading the bobbin thread through that finger will help even out bobbin tension.

Using lighter weight thread will also affect the resulting thread tension. If the bobbin case is wound with light weight thread, the bobbin tension will not operate the same as it would with standard weight thread. Light weight thread in the bobbin will cause looser tension, but heavier thread will cause a tighter tension.

Technicians use a standard weight thread to test tension on a machine, but if you use a different weight thread, then your results most likely will not be the same.

Bobbin Tension How and Why Tension is Adjusted

How can properly adjust my tension

Understanding Thread Tension Threads

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=12&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiBnuWi4tnLAhXBtIMKHRRPA5gQFghPMAs&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ca.uky.edu%2FHES%2Ffcs%2FFACTSHTS%2FCT-MMB-213.pdf&usg=AFQjCNE4QlGk1Fvt8K2UGCRCfzMpGS-A2Q

Most tension adjustments can be accomplished via the upper tension. However, there are times when the bobbin needs to be adjusted. Sewists are frequently nervous about adjusting bobbin tension. It is important to mark with permanent marker where the skrew-slot is positioned on the bobbin case BEFORE attempting any adjustments (at least if you need to return it to the original setting, you'll know where it was). Make only 1/8 turn adjustments at a time and re-test. (Righty-tighty, Lefty-loosey!) Sewists who frequently use different weight threads in their machine will often have an extra bobbin case that is set up specifically for that thread weight so they don't have to manipulate the bobbin case every time a thread is changed.

I have a 2003 flstci and I'm trying to adjust the rear shocks. Do I take the weight off the back tire or leave the weight on the back tire to adjust them.

The bike should have both wheels on the ground when you adjust the shocks. If you're adding weight to the bike, you can still adjust the shocks with the additional weight onboard but the adjuster will turn easier if the extra weight is not there.

Need to adjust stylus pressure on my akai ap-a101 turntable

Not sure exactly with this one looked at a googled picture. The counter balance weight needs to come forward toward the stylus to increase weight and move back to decrease. there looks to be a thumb screw on the right of the counter weight turn anti clockwise slightly one of three things will happen either the weight will start to move down the arm, the screw will undo the weight will come loose and can be moved forward or back on the arm or not very much at all will happen at all.
Best to mark the position of the weight first so you can return it to its original position after you over adjust and cut your own grooves in you cherished vinyl only a small adjustment is required. failing that put a small piece of blu-tack on the top of the cartridge only joking.

Won't go in the shallow end. How to adjust

The hose weights for these pool cleaners just snap on to the hose. If you need to know where to put them, follow the following recommendations from the users manual. The pool cleaner should site at a 45 degree angle for the pools floor while resting. In general, if you have model# W03000, you will probably need one hose weight in the middle of the first section of hose. If you have model #W83215 or W83216, put two weights onto the middle of the second hose section. You may need to adjust the weights slightly to make sure that you get the cleaner to the desired 45 degree angle.

Record keeps skipping arm won't move toward center of record

Sounds like your arm is tracking too light. To proper set the tracking weight on most units you need to zero the arms balance so that it is balanced just at the surface of the record. Once that is done using the weight on the back of the tone arm, or whatever system your unit uses, there should be an adjustment by turning the weight on the arm or perhaps a lever near it. You owners manual should really explain all this and give the recommended tracking weight in grams and fractions of grams. Each weight is different for different styli. Take a look at your operation manual and adjust the weight. Let me know how you make out.
