I have this Electro GSN one. When I mounted a normal flash, the flash doesn't function. What is the solution? Does it need a special flash which differently? Thanks for your helps. Reap

You can use any flash that has one contact at the shoe.
Try using the PC flash cord to the flash socket on the camera body and see if the flash fires. If you see flash with pc flash cord and not with the accessory shoe, try cleaning the flash contacts at the hot shoe.
If no flash either using the hot shoe or the flash cord, try testing the flash. If the flash is good, you have to open up the camera to trouble shoot. The flash wire is connected to the shutter's flash contacts.

My screen is flashing. It doesn't do it all the time but when I enter certain websites that would work normally on my old pc it starts flashing. It also flashes when I play games.

Flash for mamiya 7

As with most cameras, the flash for a Mamiya is universal. Any flash with a hot foot connection will fit onto the camera, and function on the camera's shoe mount. You may alternatively use any flash which has a PC sync cord to plug into the PC sync socket on your camera, it just depends on whether you want to use a camera phycially mounted on your camera, or an off-camera flash.

The flash shoe on the Mamiya 7 isn't an "intelligent" type, meaning it only has the standard single contact and doesn't communicate any exposure or other information between camera and flash, so even the cheapest off the shelf shoe-mount flash will work just as well as the most expensive. Even specialized dedicated Nikon, Canon, and other brand "dedicated" flashes with multiple contact pins will also work, only the functionality of the information communicated through those other pins will be lost.

Fijitsu wall mounted split system operation and timer lights are flashing, and the air con is not blowing cold air, only like fan operating even in cool mode.

This the common problem with all a/c holders. Without knowing the function of Timer on and Timer off, if it's pressed the unit will start only at setting time.

Please remove the battery from your remote and reset it. And then with use of your manual, set the timer if you need., otherwise normal function will be activated.

How do i use the flash on the Sony Cyber-Shot

on many sony models such as the dsc f707 and f717 and probably on your model as well ... sony uses a special flash that actually flashes twice .. it does it so fast that it looks like one flash .. the first flash sets up the metering.. the second takes the picture .. so if you try to use a standard flash you will get a dark image since they only flash once .. so you have to use a special flash attachment that is capable of double flashing .. sony, of course, makes them (HVL-F1000) and some outside suppliers as well .. sony calls it "intelligent flash"

here is a low cost "auto slave" flash for your camera:
http://www.amazon.com/Cybershot-DSC-F505V-Complimentary-Super-Deal/dp/B002LCTXG2

you dont have to hook this one up .. it uses the normal camera flash to trigger itself .. so you can move it around to get lighting effects or mount it on the camera to augment the normal flash

if you just want to use the internal flash (good to 8 feet) then here is some info ....
