The oven and burners do not work yet the clock works

There really isn't much else to say about the problem except that all the buttons work properly but when you turn any or all the knobs, the burners do not even get warm. the oven does not work either.

It sounds like you may be missing part of the input voltage at the wall receptacle. You should be reading 220-240VAC across the two hot terminals (left and right slots) on an ELECTRIC range. Some homes are wired with two separate breakers to make up the 220 service that feeds your appliance. If this is the case, make sure one of the breakers is not tripped.

Or, you may have a possible bad power cord. With the unit unplugged, check the continuity of the power cord from end to end to make sure the wires are not broken.

The clock assembly functions off of a 110-120VAC source which is tapped off the input voltage. All the elements (including the oven) all use 220. If one of the input legs is missing, the clock will still function, but none of the elements will work. Please check and get back to me if this isn't the problem. I hope this helps you.

The oven and broiler elements are not working in my older Frigidaire stove. I suspect a blown fuse.

This is so confusing

You say
"The oven and broiler elements are not working" Then you say

"Everything works except the burners'.

so nothing works? No oven/broiler elements and no burners? It make me wonder what the 'everything' is that works? The clock? The oven light?

Sounds like the main house breaker has flipped. On my older GE stove from the 1980s there are glass screw in fuses hidden below the controls and above the hobs. You undo the switch bezel for the oven light and the switch bezel for the rotisserie and pull the panel forward exposing 8 fuses. If all yours blew, it would be very strange!

Oven clock no display and oven wont work any way to bypass clock new world cgk 21556

These things are a pain! When you first power up a lot of New Workd ovens, they come up in AUTO mode and the oven won't work, so you have to take it out of auto mode and stop the clock flashing. I'm giessing that though your clock DISPLAY isn't working, the clock is and the oven think it is.

There are 6 buttons below the clock display. To take it out of AUTO and stop the clock and oven thinking the display is flashing:

Numbering the buttons from left to right as 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (because they have silly symbols!) press the 4th button (a picture of a hand) you will hear a little click and the oven will now work. If you have to power the unit off for more than about a minute at any time, you will need to do this again

Oven element blew.no top burners working.replaced oven element.nothing works except clock and oven light

Check your main fuses, it sounds like you are only operating on 120 volts. One of them is blown.Or if on breakers, switch stove breaker off then on again.

My gas oven, Super Capacity 465 the oven nor broiler light. The stove top works fine.

Hello there
Please read the entire solution i have provided below ok
It won't bake or broil If neither the oven nor the broiler heats, but the range burners still work, the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle. Check to be sure the clock buttons and knobs are set properly. If your clock has a knob that says "push for man(ual)," push the knob in and try heating the oven and broiler again. If they still don't work properly, you probably have a defect in the thermostat, selector switch, or common wiring. Note... If the oven doesn't have a separate bake/broil/etc. selector switch, the problem is often with the thermostat. It's not easy to check the selector switch or thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a problem with either of these, call a qualified appliance repair technician.

Hello there:

If you suspect a problem with either of these, call a qualified appliance repair technician. The clock stopped The non-electronic clocks on gas range/ovens often don't last long. That's a problem, because the clock is essential to the self-cleaning and timed-bake features. Clocks are rarely repairable--you usually just have to replace them. Electronic clocks have been more reliable. But, they're often integrated with several other features of the range/oven. So when the clock develops a defect, it often renders the entire oven and broiler inoperative. The electronic clock is usually integrated with a circuit board, and the touchpad that holds the buttons you press is often a separate component. If your electronic clock is defective, you may need to replace the touchpad, circuit board, or both. Although these may be expensive, they aren't usually very complicated to replace.
