I have a virgin mobile lg rumor touch and everytime i want to assign one of my custom ringtones it say ussuported file. by the way the files are .mp3 Why Does It Say This?? and how do i fix it??
Well, after you decide to make a song a ringtone, simply press set as and you'll see options such as ringtone, individual ringtone..etc.If you don't see the set as button, try press options, set as..etc.
I hope this helps your problem!

4 days of not being able to access Facebook with my Virgin Mobil LG Rumor touch, I finally talked to an IT person that had me download "Opera Mini" and she stated Virgin Mobil is no longer using the original Apps that came with the phone. Now I go thru Opera Mini and there is a square for Facebook.
I think you'll need to go into menu - settings and tools - sound settings - alert tones, then it should give you choices on what you want to change. Text, Picture, Voicemail, etc...
ur wrong about using a video file. I tried that and gives u no option to do that. on way is to use the voice recorder and assign from there under custom ringtones.
you cant transfer ringtones to your phone using cable, you need to download that ringtone from virgin mobile website,http://www.virginmobileusa.com or through your phone menu go to VXL
