It sounds like you may have some corrupted data on your hard drive. The link below will help you address this. If you still have trouble then you are having a hardware problem with the system.

SOURCE: when my career completion gets to 9% on need for

try it again but make it past 9% and see what happens. If it stills says that the memory is cor then what you need to do is find out if your ps3 is a 60G if it is then you its the PS3, the 60G is a Defective ps3, Get the 80G it is great, and if its the 180G or 120 then it might be that two since there new and all. If you dont have either one then i would check out all the other saved memory you have and see if anything elts is core. If it is then its the PS3. Hopefuly i have helped!

I have corrupted data in my ps2 memory card &i cannot delete it?

Buy a new memory card.

Yours has developed a glitch or virus and corrupted itself and is not fixable.

Corrupted Data on PS2 memory card

I don't know if you have been trying to delete the data with a game inside the ps2, but in case you have, try this.

Turn on the system WITHOUT a game inside, select BROWSER, the MEMORY CARD ICON, and i believe the corrupted data icon is a grayish black square. Choose options and then delete.
I am also heard that inserting a music cd will work as well, probably just has to not be a game inside the ps2.

Corrupted data comes from turning off the ps2, or removing the memory card while the game loads or saves data to/from memory card.
I really hope that helps, ps2's are meant to be played! Good luck.

Ps2 won't read ps1 memory card

PS2's don't read PS1 memory cards outside of the browser screen. It can only be used as access memory. Hope this helped. As for the slots it might be only fixable by a mechanic.

Printer and camera installation

First backup all of your data (Documents, Pictures, email). CD or DVD is good for this. The procedures below could cause you to loose data. Continue at your own risk.

Your problem is not easily fixable, because your MS installer is corrupted. There are two ways to approach this.

If you are using Windows XP then try restoring back several months, or a year. This may fix the installer, but it has never worked for me.

You could attempt to repair the Operating system by booting to the recovery CD.

The only good answer is to reinstall the operating system by using the recovery CD.

Corrupted save files

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do to retrieve your corrupted data. This happened to my entire memory card at one point. This usually happens if you take out the memory card or turn off the power when it's saving but memory cards can possibly fail on their own as well. Since you've had the problem for six months, simply reinserting it and trying again probably won't work (but it does in some cases). Your only hope is to reformat it and start over... sorry.

I'm not sure what you mean about the entire game being screwed up, this wouldn't have anything to do with the memory card data.
