The handle snapped off my mower. Everything else works fine, but It's useless without a good way of pushing it. How do I get a new handle?

Brand new snapper mower will not start, will start if I spray starter fluid in it?

Replace that odd factory spark plug
with the old J19LM used on the 187cc
& gap at .030

Not .020 as with the useless new plug, that
even the dealers never heard of, or have an
answer for,no factory support

The new plug works barely, for about six cuttings,
then won't start as you found out

Maybe the drive belt is to small and pulling on the assembly, and in turn pulling enough to break the bolt. probably is fine when idle, but under load the condition changes, causing tension to be applied and snapping the bold. That would be the first place I would look.

I have also had other bolts come out of other assemblies and everything ran fine. Until one day when it didnt and belts snapped and so did bolts as and my transmission. It wasnt a good day. So check your belt alignments, mower deck bolts, spring placement, rear end bolts, etc. Good Luck!!

you can adjust the handle not the switch try and swapping the switch with the other side and see if the problem follows the switch

I have a Ryobi 6.5 push mower brand new. It worked fine for bout an 45min then ran out of gas. I put more gas in it and it has not turned on since. I've tried everything...do you have any suggestions

If your mower is that new, then take it back where you bought it from and have if fixed or ask them what you may be doing wrong to cause the issue. It's under warranty. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Poulan 550 Series push mower won't pull start

Hmmmm,,and the plot thickens. Without seeing the unit, i would have to think that when you pull the engine control cable bar, its not releasing the brake that sits against the flywheel. These cables do stretch. Pull the engine cover and you will see the brake against the flywheel. Pull the engine control handle and watch and see if brake is releasing. If its not, replace the cable.
That would be my bet. I hope this is of some help.

I need to fix athe pull string on my toro push behind mower. it has an 195cc tecumseh motor. the string broke and i can't find anything on toro about how to fix it without buying the whole assembly.

remove bolts from cover and remove the cover. Should be able to access the assembly for the pull rope. Go to a local mower repair shop buy some new line. The old line should just be knotted up on the spring loaded wheel in there. You put a new piece on put in a new knot, put some turns on the assembly to basically wing the spring so it snaps back when pulled, put line through whole and attach to pull handle.

Troybilt 6.5 wont start without some help

Check to see of where the canles connect to the linkage, there are usually thumb nuts you can adjust similiar to that of the brakes on a bicycle handle bar.
