Do not know what mixture or how to use

I have a Homelite UT 10696E1 with a gas and oil mixture tank (of which I do not know the oil to mixture ratio and which type of oil to use) then I have a oil tank right below and dont know what to use. I assume that I use a 16 to 1 mixture with gas and 2 cycle oil and then bar oil in the bottem but the person I got it from didnt know anything. Please help.

40:1 mixture for the fuel:oil ratio.16:1 will cause your saw to barely run(if at all) and if it does, will fog out every mosquito for 4 blocks. You can use any reputable 2-stroke oil, though stay away from outboard engine oil. Get the good stuff that says Stihl, or Husquavarnah, or something like that. Even the Homelite stuff is ok. The oil tank takes regular bar and chain oil.

You should mix 8 Oz. of two cycle oil to one gallon of gas. I put the oil in first and then the gas and it will be mixed and ready to go.

Need gas and oil mixture for 25 cc ut 08083 blower

Two-cycle engines use a mixture of oil and fuel to power and lubricate the engine. Homelite blower engines use a ratio of 50 parts gasoline to 1 part two-cycle engine oil. Two-cycle engine oil is commonly sold in 2.6-ounce containers; add it to 1 gallon of gas to achieve the 50:1 ratio. Two-cycle engine oil for outboard motors is not compatible with Homelite blowers.Use premium fuel, the blower, weedeater, etc. will last much longer!

I have a Homelite Textron gas operated lawnmower UT 30524A. Should I add anything to the gas for proper operation? What type of oil should I use? Thanks.

on the gas filler cap (if 2 cycle) there may be some writing telling the fuel oil mixture ratio. usually 40:1, if this is a 4 cycle engine, you don't need to add anything but if you are going to keep the sae gas in it over winter or for a long time without use, you should add some "gas treatment" available at any automotive parts store, this will keep the gas from turning to gel. other additives to gas are usually a waste of money.

Homelite ut 10695 spark plug gap, gas oil ratio?

Gap the plug at 0.020", and the fuel to oil ratio is 50:1. Be sure to use a modern synthetic saw oil, fresh fuel, and mix in it's own container (don't make up more than a gallon at a time unless your business is sawing). Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time just before adding fuel mix to the tank to prevent oil starvation. Hope this helps!
