I cant format 2 gb sandisk memory card in my pc, when i insert in the mobile it says memory card not inserted,when i open it in my pc it says,memory card not formatted,want to format but when i do so it comes windows was unable to format it.

This Is The Card Error. This Can Be Solved By Inserting The Card In a Mobile And Try The Following Steps:-

• Go to file manager on your mobile,
• In the "Settings" option,
• Choose system folders,
• In the "System" folder there's a file called "MMCSTORE",
• Send that to your PC using IR/Bluetooth,
• Then open it in notepad.
• The password you need for your memory card is in that file

you have to format it you might lose it all but if you want to keep your sd card thats the solution

reformat your card through your pc. don't go for quick format. if it doesn't works after that also then get a software 4 low level formatting. if then also it doesn't works ask me again.

Try to format your memory card on a pc. after formatting, try putting some songs or any other data on the card from PC and then insert it on to ur mobile phone.
If is still does not work on mobile then you need to contact Nokia as the card is working fine.

it will need to be smaller then 8gb...... also micro SD......... NOT micro SDHD .....you also need to format it using the phone (check user guide for info on how to do this)

Solution :

Put the card in your phone, link the phone to your pc and format the card through your pc. You should see two additional drives, one for your phones memory and one for your card. I had the same problem with my phone but it is now sorted !
