I am turning an old dell dimension 4400 desktop into a low end gasming machine for a friend of mine and would like to know where to find the specs for the motherboard. I want to upgrade the processor, VC and Ram but dont want to order stuff that wont work on it. Any help in finding specs for a Dell 0K997 motherboard would be greatly appreciated.

Your issue sounds like the system did not get past power on self test. POST. The next step is to investigate the beeps http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm.
If by "reseat" you mean "reset," I'm not clear whether the problem is hardware or software.
If the machine won't turn on, check that the power cords to the computer and monitor and the video cable between the two are all firmly connected at both ends. See if there's a power switch on the back of the computer near where the power cord connect - if so, make sure it's on. Press the power button on the front of the machine, and write back to let us know what happens.
If the machine works fine but you're trying to restore it to factory-default settings, enter your service tag number on Dell's support Website and search for directions there.

Hi,
If the problem is not resolved after reseating the memory modules the problem more or less seems like a motherboard failure. Use the following troubleshooting steps to pin point the problem
inside the pc there should be a green light. called flea light. if its not on.. then id say motherboard or power supply are bad. take power cord off. and hold power button down for 10 ecs. then reconnect and retry. i think its abad psu.
