I cant fold the scooter down to fit into a suitcase

boot = trunk.
does not all BMW, have a lever that opens trunk from inside car?
and if you cant just tilt down the rear seat. then you cant.
takes tools. to remove it.
lost your spare factory key?
or stranded....???

find the lever. on some cars is near drivers seat other dash ,and others glove box lever.
I dont have BWM books.
but the glove box operators guide covers this, did you lose that too?

At the bottom of the red section of the scooter where it meets the pad where your child stands while riding it there should be some sort of lever that you push or pull that will allow the scooters handle bars to fold down for storage or travel. Good luck :)

While the scooter is folded, grab the neck and push it in and down at a slant. You will notice how it sinks in a little, once in and down at the right angle you can pull it open.

check the bolts or knots or I think its an allen wrench, check in the box if there is a tools it comes to it, and it should be an allen wrench. Now if you find one, simply loosen the allen wrench knot or bolt and then unfold the scooter and tight it back the bolt. ok

This is very simple really, just find a lever at the base of the scooter and pull up, while also pulling the handlebars up. Sometime the lever has a lock that you have to pull or unscrew.

I will try to explain this best I can without actually having it in front of me. First off, start on one side or the other, doesnt matter which, take the top of your foot and pull up on the metal supports on the bottom of the back side of teh seat. You want to pull up in the center, under where the plastic "step" looking piece is. repeat this on the other side. Then you will push down on the littel lever that sticks out of the right side of the buggy. This releases the lock. Usually, you will then have to pull up again with your foot in the same place as before and push the handles of the stroller forward. The buggy should collapse. You may try some 3-in-1 oil, silicone spray or Pledge furniture pilish on the lever and "joints" to make it fold a little more smoothly.

There are two steps to release the handle for folding. Pressing the thumb lever is one step and the other is lifting the handle bracket up. The handle is held in place by two metal pins (one on each side of the handle bracket). The pins slip down into a notch on the scooters bottom bracket. If the lever won't push, you will need to spray some WD-40 or other lubricant on it as they do tend to rust. Once you have the thumb lever where it can be pressed down, you can then lift the handle out of the bottom bracket. This may be stuck as well so a light tap with a hammer may be necessary to release the handle.

usaully they have on a lever on the side of seat push/pull

new spring and little ball. My question is were does the little ball and spring go? I tried to get it down where the bolt threads in but no dice. Any help would be great.That's the detent for a fully closed (folded) kick start lever. Look in the splined base which you ordered (female) which fits on the kick lever shaft (which is also splinedbut male) there is the hole where the actual kick start lever fits. This in the same plane as the little indent in the lever it self. Put in the spring, Then the ball on top, press the ball down with a small screwdriver or whatever from one end as sliding the lever in from the other. Once the lever end has started over the ball just push in all the way and turn to engage the lever a couple of times to make sure the detent works. Then slide the unit on as you would any kick start lever. I did this in the field yesterday, so its not difficult. I used an allen wrench to push the ball down. Took maybe a minute. Hope I did not over explain, its pretty obvious if you look at it enough. Good luck.,,,
