HAVING LEFT MY KARCHER B602 OUT OVER WINTER ,IT STARTED BUT LEAKS FROM INSIDE THE CASEING. TOOK CASE OFF AND FOUND PLASTIC PIPE HAD COME OFF PUT THIS BACK ON STARTED MACHINE AND PIPE CAME STRAIGHT OFF. WATER WILL FILL SOAP BOTTLE IF PIPE IS HELD ON WITH WIRE, BUT STILL NOT MUCH PRESSURE FROM GUN. ACN YOU HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM.

Two different wands for different uses and one has a low (hardly any) pressure mode for spraying detergent. Have you read the manual? I found it.

Karcher pressure washers are very sensitive to over-winter freezing. The plastic parts break, and you have to replace all of the leaking parts.
You may be missing a locking tab, without seeing the thing apart next to the exploded parts view, it's really hard to tell. Search google for "karcher parts", and put in your model number...

ok you have a leaky seal . sound like someone left water in pump over winter and it may have froze , when thathappens ice expands and either cracks frame or pushes out seal.

If that valve was the problem it MUST be lubricated with a good waterproof grease

Most likely your air filter is plugged or dirty, or the crank case vent valve needs to be cleaned.if it still does it check that the oil level is at the full mark, if overfilled it would cause the same problem.

i do not think there is a pressure release valve , sounds like the plastic inside the pistol has become brittle and has failed under pressure , you dont say how old the pistols are ? and if you run strong detergents through them .

you can sometimes seal the water leak from the inside as I think your water inlet case has split

I have a Karcher K 3.86 M electric PW with a similar problem: water leaks from the pump near the outlet and the pressure surges on and off continuously at intervals of 1-2 seconds. The leak appears to be coming from a very thin crack in the plastic pump head in what I think is the "unloader" valve portion. I read elsewhere that if you leave water in these PW's and it freezes it will crack, causing leaks. I don't know how you can empty all the water out so I think we must store these PW's in areas that won't freeze in winter.
