We are having new granite countertops installed, and we need to remove, then reinstall our cooktop. We have disconnected it from the power and removed the caulk around the top, but it doesn't feel loose, and we certainly don't want to break it. The original installation instructions simply say, "Place unit in cutout," but we are wondering if there are clamps of some sort. How should we handle this? Should we be able to push it from the bottom to free it from the countertop?

We looked, but no clamps. So we got brave and just tried shoving it up from the bottom, and it came up without much trouble. Thanks.
