"PROTECT" displays after I switch ON the power.

Does the display show you are in protect mode , or is a light indicating that? The unit automatically switches to standby when the
"Hardware" - "Power Management" - "Auto Standby"
setting in the Setup menu functions are set. The protective circuit function may have been activated.
If this has occurred, "AMP Diag Mode" appears on the
display when the unit is turned on again, and the unit
enters diagnostic mode. If the results of the diagnosis is
that there is no problem, the "AMP Diag Mode" display
disappears and you can use the unit normally again. If
"CHECK SP WIRE" appears on the display, the speaker
cables may be short-circuited. Make sure bare speaker
wires are not touching each other or the back panel of
the unit, then turn the unit on again. If "NG" is displayed,
immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
and contact your dealer.
• The protective circuit function may have been activated
because the temperature of the unit rose abnormally.
If this happens, then the power will continue to turn off
after you have turned the unit on again. Make sure the
unit has plenty of space for ventilation around it, wait for
the unit to cool down sufficiently, and then try turning it
on again. This is out of your users manual.

General suggestions are to remove all speakers and speaker wiring with unit off. Turn on and see if problem has stopped. If not, let unit cool down if warm and try again later. If problem is still there it needs repair shop work. I fht problem went away, shut off power and connect one speaker at a time and testing. Keep adding speakers one at a time with power off and see if a bad speaker or wire set can be located

Check the connection to speaker with this amp, for any short or any other fault. disconnect the outputs, ie, speakers from the amp, and switch it On, and see the protect display comes or not. If it comes, the fault is internal and the set need service.
Your M3 dual Mono integrated amp, is of high output power and its outputs are protected against any overload or short circuit. If the system detect any among this condition specified above, it will show protect mode display.
Never load this amp, as protection display is there, as it may damage the speaker or its internal power amplifier section circuits, may cause more money to get it repaired. OK.

Protect will usually show up if the receiver was turned up too loud to the point where the speakers will crackle, the receiver will switch to protect to not damage anything. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and check all the audio wiring in the back to make sure everything is plugged in good and tight and no loose cables or stray pieces of copper audio wire and plug it back in.

First, check all of your speakers and speaker wires for shorts and/or grounds. If they all check out fine, press the reset button (it should be a pencil tip sized depression on the face, or a hole with a switch behind it on the subpanel behind the face). If there is no reset switch, disconnect the battery for a few seconds.

check it without the speakers if they go to protection,and if not check the speakers

the protect message flashes on my KDC MP342U radio. I have unhooked each speakers one at a time and reset the radio but the protect still flashes

Is the red light flashing at first?
The unit may be going into protect mode. Lets hope it has done the job and the receiver has protected itself from failure.
Protect mode can result from speaker wires touching each other or the Amps metal case. Check that first.
It can also be caused by unstable ohm loads if too many speakers are connected to any of the outputs especially zone 2.
If you can remove all speaker wires and turn the unit back on. If it stays on, turn the volume down on the main zone and zone 2 if connected. Then reconnect speaker wires.

i have a sony component push power protect, i have already replace IC but still protect push power

The protect message indicates that the output amp section has a problem. Normally this requires the replacement of the output transistors or the output amp pac. Expect the repair cost to be about $20-$60 for parts plus the local labor rate.

Since the problem appeared to correct itself on occassion, I would first look for poor solder connections either at the output transistors or at the voltage regulators. Let me know if you need more detail.
