What unlock code did you mean, Motorola Razor network unlock code or PUK code (to open your phone if you forgot your pin). If you need motorola network unlock code you can buy that from third party site, but if you need puk code, you can get that from your network provider.
Even though the batteries look the same and will fit does not mean they are compatible. I just saw this again at my cell shop today. My razor uses a BR 50. This guys razor needed a BK-70. A BR-50 my partner put in fit, but gave the same message. Your eyes do not deceive you. Make sure the battery model is the same and you are in business. Motorolla batteries have nice big model numbers. I don't have to put my specs on to read it! Happy charging :)
