My tv had similar problems. It would seem the original factory cooling fan inside the unit is insufficient.This causes an overheating condition. Strange as this may sound, try putting a standard fan in the rear of the television close to av input jacks,and let it blow on the back of the machine.If the machine ceases to act erratically,this is the problem. If this works,consider installing larger, more powerful internal fans.
