You need to post the part number off the board. Most of them are 310432842631 for the A/37. Best found on eBay.

My tv had similar problems. It would seem the original factory cooling fan inside the unit is insufficient.This causes an overheating condition. Strange as this may sound, try putting a standard fan in the rear of the television close to av input jacks,and let it blow on the back of the machine.If the machine ceases to act erratically,this is the problem. If this works,consider installing larger, more powerful internal fans.

Ssb for my philips plasma
hello,
the ssb stands for small signal board and is where the microprocessor and eeprom are located. also tuner is on that board. these are not component level repairs therefore circuit board would need to be replaced. costs very but to be honest can vary from 300 to 1000 dollars from my experience depending on where your able to get the part. andrews electronics and vance baldwin are main distributors for philips parts but if you google part number may find renewed part available. part number is going to be located on tuner. should be 3 12 numeric numbers on tuner. top number with s to left is correct number. hope this helps. dan

I need help tv plasma phillips
There is a firmware that can be updated via usb from philips. This fw was used to correct the tv powering on with no picture randomly (they called it a maintence session) but it was a problem. The tv would power on on its own and do this..


If that doesnt take care of your problem then the problem is with the main control board. or ssb

replacing ssb for 4 blink error was correct as error is communication failure specific to micro processor on ssb. getting an alternate error after replacing ssb would suggest either wrong ssb or defective ssb. verify vendor number on ssb tuner on original and new ssb and if same reorder that board and if not order per original board

Ssb board
What model is this? Because it says Magnavox 27ms343s which is a 27' tv. The 55' has a different board. Small Signal Board is SSB, you also have a LSB. Your best bet is to call 1-800-844-7871 which is PTS and give them the model # and order the board. It will be the cheapest you can find. If that person is right then you can get the board here. And even if you have question you can ask to speak to a tech and give them the problem. Hope this helps
