Google and find the web address of the manufacturer and download the driver for your model.

How can i install a usb web camera

If the web camera came with an installation disk, use the disk to install drivers then plug the web camera in a USB port. The computer should recognize it. If it is properly recognized it will work with all applications that support a webcam (Skype, MSN, Google chat..) If it is not recognized and you do not have an installation software, you should go to the manufacturers web site to download appropriate drivers.

You can download the WEBcam drivers for your PC from the WEBcam manufacturer's WEB site.
I cannot give you the link to the WEBcam manufacturer's WEB site because you have not provided me with the details of the make and model of your WEBcam.

How do you get the 1.3 megapixel web cam to work

If you bought a new 1.3 mega web cam with that a driver cd is available. If you have the driver cd install it first. here is install steps.

unplug the web cam if you connected to the system
Put the web cam driver cd into the cd drive and install the driver software.
In the installation it will ask you to connect the web cam to the system and connect it (Only it ask to connect)
After that you can see the image on the web cam software.
Adjust the lens which is comfortable to see.

These are intial steps to work the web cam just try it and inform me if you get any other thing
