I cant transfer nor replace tracks in my walkman caused by pc crashing while tranferring tracks.

This happens a lot of times when a pc crashes in the middle of something. Sometimes the device that was attached at the time has "corrupt" files after being involved in a pc crash!. You will need to download your software again or go to the manufacturer's website and get the software there.

Dissapeared songs

My guess is that the crash caused damage to the file system. This corruption may or may not erase the songs, but the only way to recover from such a crash would be to reformat your mp3 player which will result in erasure of all the songs in it. Formatting it will reset it to factory defaults and you should be able to reload your mp3 player and rock on!  Good Luck!

Samsung mp3 player crash

Hi undercover. I don't have experience of your actual model, but I've had a similar thing happen to my Inovix MP3/4 player when it crashed (also crashing my whole computer!) and went completely 'dead'. Plugging it into the USB port had no effect - no charge symbol and the computer didn't even acknowledge something was being plugged in. Basically, I kept on trying every time I was on the computer! 2 days later, I plugged it in and 'ding-dong' Windows XP recognised something was in the USB port. I then carried out a Firmware re-load using the supplied disc, and my player burst into life! Firmware crashes are pretty common with various players, I believe. Depending on how old your player is, try the manufacturer's website to see if they've updated the Firmware. Good luck.
