When the pc is switched on, it makes a highpitched repeated beeping sound. I have seen some info on this saying that it will be over heating but pc it fine and the powersuppply is not overly hot.

Wont start up and high pitch beep

The beeping is from the motherboard most likely. Sounds like you have some kind of virus. You may be able to access safe mode by holding alt+f4 when start-up but other then that I would take your PC in to get checked out.

Mercury PI865D7 Motherboard system is won't turn on. I Checked SMPS and RAM. it's also a good then what's the problem for this....And Coming high pitched Bee Sound Repeatedly.....

Hello the manual can be downloaded here:

Check the ram modules, and the graphic card.

How many beeps comes, when you start the pc ??

Here is a list of beep codes:

http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

One long beep is a ram module failing.
Try insert one module, and reboot.
The problem could also be, the power supply.

Computer beeps every 30 seconds

It is car brakes. Turn that game off.

OH, I'M JUST KIDDING!

BIOS speaker is broken, and you hear high pitched beeps?
Hmmmmm,..........

CPU temperature in normal............
What is the CPU, and what is the temp? Hey, I gotta know so we are on the same page here, lol!

Me?
Those repeated high pitch BIOS Beep Codes indicate a CPU problem.
I would remove the Heatsink/Fan combo, and replace the Thermal Paste.
(Following Anti-Static Precautions, and cleaning the CPU, and Heatsink, of course)

Also make sure the Heatsink is sitting flat.
Yes, I know what you stated about Speecy, and Core Temp, but I would try it anyway.

Still no?
CPU is sounding Taps, and telling you goodbye.

A high pitched whine, sounds like it needs oil? Does it - or grease somewhere?

No grease //but the pumps tend to make a high pitched sound when getting bad/I have seen them do that then the sound disappear but most likely the pump is bad or somthing in it..If you need more info please ask.......if i helped you please vote and good luck.

Left laptop on bed in morning screne would not appear

try reseating the battery but before your return the battery after romving it Press and hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds then return the batt and try turning system on if it boots that will be good but if not try reseating the Hard Drive from the system then try booting again ^_^

Possibly the fan is not spinning in your computer, but if the above still does not let the system boot into windows and nothing is on the screen and u hear high pitched noise most probably the Processor on your system is toast only thing that can cause a no post with a high pitched sound is your processor

Hp laptop's charger brick is making a repeating, high pitched beeping sound. how do i make it stop beeping?

You replace it. There is nothing an untrained person can fix inside one of those power supplies. And you should replace it soon. You do not want anything shorting out inside there and causing a fire.
