Jamo SUB 250 Subwoofer Logo

My jamo sub 250 won't power up.... any ideas i've tried a different power lead to rule out that as a problem... no change was working fine just the other day... and is only a few years old... so not real happy if it has died.... is there a reset somewhere for it... i couldn't see one?

There is a fuse under the plug, check that first.

Hello Guyz..

Even I'm facing similiar problem have brought a new jamo sub 250 with Jamo HCS 606 with Onkyo TXSR 608 . My SUb is not powering up either. Could you precisely tell me where is this fuse location . A Image would be very helpful.

I saw this fuse issue with Jam Sub250 in other forms as well. Is it common

    unplug the cord from the sub in the housing take a flat head screwdriver and remove the plate in bottom of plug housing this will show the fuse

The Jamo speakers need an AV Receiver to drive them properly. The TV doesn't have the correct outputs nor does it have the power required.

The Jamo kit consists of a powered subwoofer ans 5 small surround speakers. Each surround speaker needs to be powered by the speaker output from an an AV Receiver. The subwoofer should also be connected to the receiver, but the connection is a phono/RCA lead from the receiver's "Sub Out" socket.

Your TV connects to the AV receiver via the Optical out.

Internal power? Check fuses. No fuses? Disassemble and check Power supply if it is internal. If it is external, check power supply with meter.;.

Do jamo powered subs work in the u.s.a. on 110 volts 60 hz

just buy a adaptor like a normal plug socket that your 2 pin 110 volt can plug into it then plug it in to the 3 pin 240 volt socket an bobs your uncle your sorted.

Jamo Sub with no power

THE IS A FUSE INSIDE THE UNIT,YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK THAT.IF IT BLOWS AGAIN WHEN TURNED ON YOU HAVE SHORTED MOSFETS. THEY ARE LIKE TRANSISTORS.

since it is a powered speaker, probably it just needs a sound signal which you can get from the headphone socket. please double check with someone else.

hi, there must be this LINE IN socket (ur so called Hole), then on the onkyo, there must be this sub-line out socket, plug one end of the RC socket to the sub out of onkyo , and other to the line in of the sub, its all to do wirth its appropriate inputs and outputs,let me know
