What is 3250 wattage i am looking at a gaggia machine to buy and it says it is 3250 wattage will i need special electrity power thanks

have you tried looking on the internet or try ebay .

The heating element is shorted out. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement part (if available)

230 V @ 50 Hz; 64 W for European version, so 0.27 Amps ; if you're in the US, just call a retailer and ask them to read the voltage and wattage or amperage off the nameplate of the machine. Watts = Volts x Amps. Since US voltage is 110, 64 Watts would mean the machine was drawing about 0.6 Amps. That's assuming it's an equivalent motor to the European version.

You must use the correct tablets for this, gaggia make special decalcifying tablets.
The machine must be cold when running the program.
It takes about an hour to run the solution through the machine.

Remove the screws on top of the machine you will notice the problem, I think it might be the elements that burnt out.

the power supply wattage rating is MAX wattage, not constant wattage. the power supply only outputs the amount of power that the rest of the computer calls for, and no more. if yor computer only needs 200 watts, that is all that will be sent from the power supply; even if it has a max rating of 600 watts, it will only send the amount of watts which your computer calls for.

I just bought a broken Carezza for my office (and hacking)-- the owner said the power switch only worked when he held it down hard.

Taking it apart, the main power switch-- a DPDT automotive-style unit-- is broken on one pole-- the wire connectors are slightly melted and darkened, and the switch has melted, discolored plastic around the metal tabs.

A new switch should bring it back to life, and I'll install a removable power cord and 15A fuse for niceness/safety-- the switch is rated for 20A at 125VAC so shouldn't have fried.
