Need a code for Pioneer Audio/Video receiver as code search is not an option to program, only direct method can be used for the Audio Button. The Audio codes listed is pretty short list and Pioneer is a common brand. Are there more codes available to program this remote?

What your unidentified TV >>requires<< is the BEST Video from every video source. That would be the DVD, SAT Box. It probably has multiple high-end video inputs, right?

What your receiver needs is at least a basic composite video connection to the TV so you can set it up and manage it.

A web search for "Pioneer VSX-D308 manual" will find the manual.

ALL of the BEST Audio should go directly to the Pioneer. That includes the SAT and DVD player.

Your TV can exist just fine with basic audio from the video sources. And you could still watch it/them without the Pioneer turned of if you want.

"Component" cable refers to the 3-wire hi-def video connection. It's irrelevant to audio.

Assuming you get all your TV programming through a cable box...

The TV wouldn't actually be a source of audio.

I would advise you to route the Cable Box's BEST DIGITAL audio directly to the Pioneer model number ????? (which would be helpful to know for this conversation).

Run the cable box's normal analog audio to the TV so you can watch it without the Pioneer turned on.

And route the best Cable Video (HDMI, Component?) directly to the TV. Unnecessary paths through the receiver can degrade the signal.

Connect the Direct TV and the Xbox directly to the television by their respective video cables.
Then connect their audio cables to the audio inputs on the receiver.

This connection method does not require use of the monitor out terminal.

TRY these, 014, 039, 044, 069, 168, 116, 035, 198, 480, 556, or if this is possible use the Auto/Seach method where the remote shuffles through all the codes until the unit responds.

hello i have a pioneer sx-315 it plays great but the sub performs badly.they sound is very low.they really need to perform better.if anybody know any sub that work better please let me know.
