Hi, I've just moved in and the tecknik TKC 195/4 oven has all the numbers on the front three dials for temp etc rubbed off. I can't find a manual online! Help!

If you're unable to find a manual online and the numbers on the front dials of your Technik TKC 195/4 oven are rubbed off, you may want to consider reaching out to the manufacturer's customer support for assistance. They may be able to provide you with a replacement manual or offer guidance on how to operate the oven without the labeled dials. Alternatively, you could try to find a local repair technician who is familiar with the model and can help you identify the functions of the dials.

Is it dangerest when your oven beeps f2

Typically an oven beeps when the interior temperature macthes the temperature where you set the dial. This is an audible signal to that fact and particularly helpful when you need to pre-heat the oven. For example it you want to cook something at 350 degrees, you set the dial at 350. When your oven reaches that temperature it beeps to let you know. Some cooking directions tell you to preheat your oven. In that case, when you set the dial to 350 and wait for the beep...you know you are safe to start your cooking process because the oven is now pre-heated to the temperature you set. If your recipe requires a pre-heated oven, and you don't wait for the beep, your taking a guess at what temperature you're cooking your food. Additionally, if you want to know what the internal temperature of oven is and your oven is heated...you simply turn you dial setting and listen for the beep. Again, if you set your oven at 350 and you want to know how hot your oven is... slowly turn the dial setting. If the oven beeps at 275 then that's how hot your oven has gotten. To let it finish heating to 350 just reset the dial and wait for the beep.

No manual

The light bulb is the oven light.
The snowflake with 3 raindrops is Defrost Mode (fan runs with no heat to reduce defrost time)
The 2 lines up top & down bottom is Traditional Cooking (heat from top & bottom elements)
The big circle with a fan is the Fan forced Oven
The small line at top only is the Grill Mode
The larger line at top only is the Double Grill Mode
The line up top with the fan underneath is Double Grill with Fan mode
The line on the bottom with fan on top uses the lower element with the fan for delicate dishes

The manual can be found on the Baumatic website - www.baumatic.com.au - select your product which takes you into another page & you will see on the left hand side a link to "View User Manual"

Whirlpool Generation 2000+ oven

Yeah just turn the left hand knob to the one setting which isn't a cooking function - I think it looks a bit like a dash - and then power up as normal on the right hand knob.
It happpened to me but you get the hang of it and it's not a fault.
