I have a LG RU-44SZ61D DLP TV and recently replaced the bulb. After about two months the TV went really dim and then started shutting off. The problem increased to the point where you couldnt have the tv on for more than five minutes before it would shut off. When it would shut off the Lamp indicator would flash five times. I replaced the bulb again thinking it was a defective bulb and the problem was fixed for about two weeks. Then on a couple rare occaissions the tv wouldnt turn on, It would try to turn on for about a minute and then turn off and the lamp indicator would flash five times. Now the problem has gotten so bad I cant turn the tv on. When I press the power the status indicator light goes from red to blink yellow/orange as it always does during start up. Does this about a minute and then turns back to red and the lamp indicator comes on and flashes red five times. I hear it click and can hear the color wheel wind up.
