The disc i have been given to download the pc suite installer does not fit into my p.c! do you know if there is somewhere i can get this from so that i can synch my phone to my p.c? at the moment i am using vista.

Take the CD and put it in another computer that can read it and copy the contents to a USB stick, then u can take it and install it into your PC.. thats what i did.... OR you can download it from http://uk.lgmobile.com/web/web.mypage.RetrieveMyPhoneList.laf
If You want to be able to see the contents of your LG Viewty on your PC, you don't have to install the software. Here's a very simple solution to that::::
On your Viewy go to
1.Phone Settings,
2.select Connectivity,
3.select USB connection Mode
4.set it to Mass storage, (select)
5.go back to main screen, and connect your USB to the PC
6.Your Viwety should go immediately to USB mode
7. On your PC, Go to Computer, and look for the removable driver that corresponds to the new connection (your viewty), click on the driver icon and you should be able to see your phone's content if u have a flash memory inserted on your phone
Thanks for fruitful suggestion friend.You are quite right there is no need of any software for interfacing LG mobile with PC.Just go to the Phone settings>Connectivity>Usb connection Mode and then select Usb Mass Storage and your mobile will be perfectly working.

The disc I recived with the phone is a mini disc.. my computer only takes CD disc. CAn I download the software fomr somewhere else?
The Mini CD provided by the LG can be fit into any CD ROM or DVD in the PC or Laptop. Open the CD tray and You will See Round Circular tray inside the ROM . Placed this Mini CD into it and close the tray..

One solution is to use Bluetooth if your PC has this.
If your PC/Notebook has this switched on go to your phone and select the picture/sound/video you want to send to PC. When you hit send you have option message/email/Bluetooth. Once you select Bluetooth hit refresh to search for available Bluetooth devices. Select intended device and send. Note you will have to accept this file on receiving device for transfer to begin.

OK the tiny cd that comes with it does fit in all pcs that have a cd drive u idiots and if you need the software to transfer stuff to your phone you shouldnt have a phone heres easy instructions on how to use your phone and pc without using the pc suite on your phone go settings-> phone settings -> connectivity ->usb conetion mode -> click mass storage = you can now transfere files to and from your phone and you can delete items that are on your phone also works to transfere pictures music and games

Hey guys, i had a redundancy error when i tried to start my cd. I got really annoyed with it. So i looked through every way and found one. When you put the cd in the autoplay will come up, click on "Open folders to view files." Then press LPG suite and press setup. It should work.

Hi Yes i have an apple ibook g4 with a slide entry for Cd-Roms etc the laptop just spits the disc out and then i need a pair of tweezers to get it out of the machine. are there drivers on line somewhere that one can install i have looked but cannot find one thanks ~martin
yeah so i have the same problem i have a nice 5Mpix camera phone but can't see the pics on the computer coz i haven't got the software. i've read about a small disc which doesn't fit in people's CD rom drives. i didn't get one of these i was told by the orange shop that the software is on the phone already. come on LG u bring out a phone that can compete with the iphone but not on the software. last time i get an LG i'm going to sony in a couple of months sell this on ebay. oh and LG just post the software on your web site so we can get it from there.
