Ok, you can remove the small screws below the kick panel below the door on the front. that will gain you viewing space to watch and see if the ignitor is even glowing, if it is then you most likely need gas valve coils, or to turn on the gas.
if the ignitor is not glowing at all you will need to do some testing on the safetys and thermostats within the dryer. they are all closed at rest so you should have continuity through them. there is the operating stat on the air duct blower housing in the front of the dryer. there is also a hi limit that is on the rear housing of the unit that you will need to remove the top of the dryer to view and gain access to..
those dryers have been a pain and the rear hi limit is especially susceptible to poor venting practices so very common today, and the higher operating temps caused by the poor venting..
best of luck..

Fridgidare Dryer Model #GLER34IAS2/Serial #XD40311703: dryer runs for about an hour then kicks out the breaker.

check the main terminal block and make sure there is no shorted wires. There is also a chance that the heating element has grounded out on the cabinet frame. causing it to draw to much power yet still dry clothes

My dryer will not start. When I push the star button everything lights up but it will not start. It is a fridgidare and about 6 years old. It is an energy efficient Fridgidare.

Open the door, push in the door switch, press the start button and rotate the tub with your hand. If it starts running you have a bad motor. BE CAREFUL and this is obviously easier with 2 people but is possible with 1. Thanks for rating me after you view this.

Dryer dosn't get heat. fridgidare

there could be a faulty heating element or thermal fuse. but check the main power and see if there is correct power supplied

Fridgidare dryer spins but no heat.

If the dryer runs but doesn’t heat, don’t even think it’s the thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse was the problem, the dryer wouldn’t run at all.
First thing to do is verify your source voltage for the dryer; for those of you in Manhattan, this means to use your multi-meter to measure the voltage at the dryer outlet to make sure you have 240v. Y’see, Slick, the dryer motor only needs 120v supplied by one of the lines to run. But the heating elements, on the other hand, need 240v supplied by both lines to get hot.
If the source voltage is ok, then the most likely bad parts are listed below. As always, you should use your meter and the tech sheet supplied with your dryer (and cleverly hidden inside the control panel) to verify:
1. Even Heat Board
2. Heater Relay
3. Thermostat
4. Sensor
