Hey i have a mac book os x i have this yp-k3  player with th cd but it wont install it nor down load i dont know wat to do.

I had the same problem. Just press the reset button on the back. and then turn it on. trust me...it works!

up grading a set, i dont think can cause that problem, may be the defult seting have be deleted.
if a set is not coming on, try to check your power.
if comes on, than you need to down load software.
be connected on the net, and type yp-k3 samsung software down load. send, a page will come where you will have to down load.

Hey,

you need media player 11 or newer
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx

it should work fine instantly with media player 11 installed, just plug it in ones the media player is properly installed (you may need to restart, I don't remember for sure)

and it should work right away with wm11.

instalation usb YP-K3

My daughter had a similar problem - she was frozen at the power off screen. On closer inspection, at the bottom of the K3 on the back of the unit is a reset button (you will need a pin or paper clip to reset it). Pushed a pin in for a few seconds, reset, all was OK.
