Samsung L730 My camera won't charge, I plug the charger in but it doesn't charge..

Digital camera batteries are usually with an external battery charger.
The charger maybe faulty, the charge adapter will have a LED indicator to indicate that it is charging.

If the recharageable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Do you have change a Samsung L730 battery and to see if it can be charged? If you charge the battery in camera. It seems something wrong with the build-in charger core. If the camera all are OK beside charge battery, you can charge your Samsung L730 battery with a battery charger, and if your Li-ion battery is over discharged for a long time, it's bad for it. As your camera has been used for 2 years and it maybe not in warranty. To change build-in charger core should be expensive.

Hi, maybe a open fuse in power pcb ,otherway main pcb.

You CANNOT charge a camera through a USB port there just is not enough power! you need to get an original wall charger and power up from that. Even the USB cable/wall charger will NEVER charge it up sufficiently.
The USB cable is for data transfer only.

contact to your retailer from where u bought your device.............try in any electronic shops...........

Try taking out the battery, give the connections a blow to free dust then try the on off switch.

The inexpensive fix is to purchase a DC to AC inverter that plugs into your cigarette lighter. A 75 watt inverter cost around $20. Plug your camea charger into the inverter and you are up and running in seconds.

try taking it to your local camera or electronics store and see if they can clean the contacts on your charging port and your battery slot and/or run a coninuity test on your charging port.
