Keeps flashing bucket full and there is no water in the bucket.
If you plug and unplug it will run for a few seconds and then flashes bucket full. The bucket is in all of the way. If you push the red sensor button it still flashes bucket full.

cont button just means continuous run mode . the power light is lit , the full light is out . try reseating the water catch bucket a few times , most machines have a safety that wont allow the thing to operate if bucket isn't just perfect in its slot (you don't want water on your floor )
Since you have had 2 seemingly unrelated symptoms it is almost sure you have had a power board failure. If you post back with the complete model number we will try to check everything and see what we can come up with.
Thanks/Mike
This problem is usually caused by an improperly installed water collection bucket or the float valve inside the top of the bucket is broken or stuck in the DOWN position.
To troubleshoot this, turn the unit OFF & unplug it. Remove he bucket, check the float valve's position. If it stuck in the UP position, jiggle the handle to make it return to the DOWN position. This will also allow you to determine if the float is broken. If all this checks out, reinstall the bucket "squarely" from top to bottom into the bucket holder. It must make contact with the bucket safety removal switch on the back wall of the holder. When installed properly, the bottom of the bucket will not tilt down at all. Plug the unit in and turn it ON. If everything was done correctly, the unit should start within a few seconds.
Hope this helps you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thnanks for choosing FixYa.
Unplug from wall. Take the front cover off and disconnect the 2 wires that attach to the humidity control dial. Plug back in. If it works, the problem is the humidty control dial (mine just went bad). With it unhooked, it will run constantly, but will still turn off when the bucket is full. To turn off, simply unplug.
I have a 45 pint. I have to slide the bucket in and out of the unit multiple times. Make sure to wait a few seconds after each time to see if it will recognize no water (sometimes the red light comes on, but then changes it mind). Also, I've found that leaving the bucket a little crooked will make it respond. It sucks, I know. Mine is only a year old too. Should not be a problem like this!
