Is there a drain hole for the water?

I see no water coming out of the air conditioner and that just seems weird since I thought all air conditioners drained. Don't have a manual.

It should drain just out the back of the unit itself. When it is on long enough. The unit has to be on at least 30 or more minutes and depending on how you have it angled in your window also will depend on how long that it takes to drain.

Where is the drain pan drain hole on the bottom of the Fridgidaire FAC 127S1A air conditioner?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know where the drain hole is on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC127S1A. I see that the drain seems to be blocked, as water is collecting in the drain pan, instead of draining. The drain hole is located beneath the compressor. You might want to try tilting your air conditioner slightly to the outside, to allow better water drainage. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Unit will not run after about an hour until tank is drained -if a container is placed under the unit with plug out the unit will run like. An awful lot of water seems to come out of the unit.

Thing to remember about an Air Conditioner is it is transferring heat, so if you are in a hot humid enviroment you are going to condense more water, which will fill the tank up quicker.

If the tank has a spot to connect a hose to the tank, and you have a drain nearby, might be worth hooking a hose up.

a thought anyways on a fix

But the water is normal

Water is coming out front of air conditioner, it has stoped draining outside

Two things can cause this problem:.

1. The drip pan's drain hole at the rear of the drip pan is clogged.

2. Not enough downward tilt on te rear of the unit. Which allows the water to flow freely to the
drain hole. The general rule of thumb for downward tilt is 1/4" to 1/2".

Correcting the above should solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Water is coming out the front of our window air conditioner. it drips constantly. the air conditioner cools great. when you turn the air conditioner off, the water just pours out the front of the air...

This can be caused by the drain hole in the drain pan (under the unit) is clogged or the unit does not have enough rear downward tilt to allow the water to flow to the rear of the pan and out thru the drain hole. The general rule of thumb is 1/4" to 1/2" downward tilt at the rear of the unit.

The drain hole can be hard to find, sometimes. As the clog will blend in with the hole. Persistence and patience help a lot in searching for it. A pipe cleaner works well to clear the clog.

Hope this has helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

My LG air conditioner is spitting out water and making a weird noise....i took off the front panel and theres a lot of water in what i guess is a condensation pan....ive tried drying the little bit i can...

Go around the back side and unplug the drain hole! These are designed to drain out the back through a hole in the drain pan. Maybe your unit is tipping forward and not draining like it should. You can use a coat hanger or wire or even a shop vac to remove debris from the drain.

Dripping water noise in A/C

Yes, your ddrain holes are plugged and it should be,a ccording to plumbers standard slopped away from the building at 1/4 inch per foot in order to properly drain. Or else you will end up with a mold machine. I'd put a teaspoon of bleach in there now.

Its's very important these drain outside. (since it's basically distilled water it is GREat on plants, btw minus the bleach, of course.

Leaking water

mcdevito75 here, The portion of the a/c unit that goes outside the window is the evaporator and suppose to leak water, check the drain hole in the unit floor on the outside portion of the unit, reach this drain hole thru another window or have your local a/c repair shop look at it, they come to the house.
