Well i think for sure you will have to go through a very long process because you will have to redo all the setting from scratch. For sure the procedure is very tiresome. For i love the idea of backing up online bacause everything is done automatically. And at least i know that my files are secure.I was looking for perfect online backup solution and i came across www.safecopybackup.com wow this link is so cool i tried out the free 3GB trial for my music. It worked out well.So please i think you should also try and have alternative backups some where.SafeCopy would be good because one pays only 50bucks for 150GB per year. This can save you from spending tons of money.

If your problem is that you can't remember your router's wireless passphrase, you have the option to restore your router to its factory defaults, Then, afterwards, you redo all your settings from scratch, thus having the chance to specify a new passphrase. To perform a hard reset, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. After you release the reset button, you'll notice that its lights will flash. When the power/ready light is solid lit, the hard reset procedure is complete.
By the way, if your router's user manual happens to be missing, you can download it from this location.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards, Carlos

Competer starts, black screen, no power to wireless keyboard or mouse. Won't boot up.

I'm sorry to say this but these are signs of your computer's hard drive crashing. Hard drives (from what I've been told by other experts) typically crash after about 4-6 years of intense use. That's why I always recommend people backing up their important files every year. This has happened to my laptop before, I've had the same symptoms.

Now what about your files?

Well if you're lucky, you can ask a Geek Squad rep. from Best Buy or anyone else with proper experience to try to salvage your hard drive. Anyway you'd have to buy a new hard drive and replace your crashed one.

Solution: Take your computer to an expert to help you recover your hard drive files and replace the hard drive.

Problem with my built in wireless

You'll need to visit Toshiba's site to locate and download the wireless drivers for your model. Reinstall the drivers and you'll have your wireless access again.

I have Purchased 4 years ago my Sony vaio lapto in the US and I brought this here to the Philippines. Now, it was shut off and according to the repairman the motherboard was destroyed. what shall i do? ...

A replacement motherboard may not be a cost effective solution, even if you can find a replacement motherboard.
If it was me I would remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an USB external hard drive for backup etc. You can transfer your data from this drive to you new laptop.
I would recommend you purchase a new laptop. New laptops are cheaper, faster and better than your old Sony.

HP Pavilion laptop freezes daily and i force manual shutdown

It sound's like there could be a compatibility problem, maybe corrupt file's, or missing start up file's, have you tried doing a window's update, or doing a disc check on the hard drive, go to my computer right click the drive then go to propertie's, click on tool's then click check now for drive error's. if that do'es not work you may need to reformat back to the original xp os.
