Count the flashes again carefully, as that model should only blink a maximum of 9 times, unless your getting two seperate codes. Try counting and trying to notice if it pauses a second before blinking again. then let me know what you discover.
It has to be power supply most likely stand by supply. I would check the regulator transistors first along with the horizontal out put transistor. Your set isnt going into protective shutdown so it has to be something in stand by or the start up circuits.

If the standby led blinks 10 times (HV protect) it will be IC8002 is faulty.

Its about 5 years old now..... it does blink ten times, then pauses then blinks ten times again and continues to do the same.
Mine also blinks 10 times. I tried to see if it seems to pause in between but i can't tell that it pauses until after the 10th blink. Did you have yours fixed? What can I do? My husband is pretty good at fixing stuff but didn't want to risk messing with it if he didn't know what to look for. Any suggestions?
Mine flashes green when turned on then flashes red for 10 times too is it fixable
