SAMSUNG DLP617W SCREEN GOES BLACK SOUND IS ON CAN"T USE REMOTE
After approx 1-2 hrs screen goes black lamp is on , sound is ok, does not react to remote controler, Had to unpluge from the wall and then after few minutes comes on again. Any suggestions, thanks.
lamp light is on but tv shows remain black. remote control doesn't do anything. none of mode or source control works.
had to unplug from the wall socket.
it is on when I plugged back and tv turns on by itself. however, can not toggle from ant to cable function anymore.
if I press any button from my remote control, screen size changes.
I heard clicking sounds and screen size changes by itself also.
when I powered off, and then try to turn on, it won't work. it doesn't turn on.
but lamp light is on. middle button shows "timer" blinking everytime I press my remote control power button, but tv remains black.
maybe it is similar.

I found your site confusing. If you had read my post, you would have noticed that my problem referred to a 15" flat screen 'CELLO' .TV/DVD combo. I had sound but no picture. When switched on, the screen lit up and the word CELLO appeared then the sreen went black
