Imagemixer 3 disc wont accept camera serial number.

You can download some software for the Vixia HF R100 here: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/camcorders/support-high-definition-camcorders/vixia-hf-r100 . However, ImageMixer 3 SE is third-party software that is only available on the driver disc that came with the camera. Some companies will send you a replacement disc for a small fee. You'll need to contact Canon support, https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/ , to ask if they have discs available.

ImageMixer 3 SE is available here: http://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/canon/e/imagemixer3_se_canon/ . However, this is only for updating the software on a computer that already has the program installed.

Leaving off the letters worked for me.

Problem solved by local canon agents. Thanks. The serial no. was on the packing box preceded by a <21>. no mention was made that it was a serial no.

I had a hard time finding it too. Finally figured out that its the 12 digit number written:
XXXX
XXXX
XXXX
on the tag that stuck to the battery door

I found another serial number under the batteri, and then it worked out fine.

I have a problem with my cannon fs100, I am looking for the serial number and it's not any where near, under or over the battery. Please help?

THE SERIAL NUMBER OF MY CANNON FS 100 IS NOT ACCEPTED

This has to be the shittest software ever! I've edited my clips in the editing mode but can't do anything but save it as a working edit. The file format is useless for anything but this program so all you can do is edit to your hearts content and then edit some more. Complete waste of time. I tried connecting the camera (Canon HF10) and that took away all editing options. Could only burn straight to DVD or upload to computer. For such an expensive camera this is very disappointing.
