I have a Panasonic CQ-DF903U which is 'Sirius Ready' I now have my Sirius radio (o.k. it's actually XM radio but same dif.) I have the special dual RCA into micro jack cable but on the back of the Radio, I do not see any RCA lines/jacks for a Sirius Radio. There is the following;S/W out...AUX in...CD changer in (or out)............ Left....Right...speaker lines .....AMP in.
I have the owners manual and it state in the Upgrade # 2 option, There is a footnote that says, "To install a Sirius Satellite Radio, see separate enclosed addendum sheet include".Well guess what,it's NOT include.I can not find any web site that shows how to install this.Yes I have it set up in FM modulation now but I get a lot of static and VERY poor sound quality.I am using the Outside FM direct antenna too.The station I am using was suggested by XM radio and seems to be "The clearest" of all.
I tried to go through the AUX jacks but there was some chassis noise. The grounding on the radio must be very good. I went ahead and used the FM Modulator method. I found a clear station and tuned the XM radio to that station. I also had my radio Tech but in some kind of supressor because of the wining and static through the speakers.
HOODEE
Sirius radio connects via a special dock. Sorry, but you're screwed with your XM unit...
