My camcorder has a blue screen and has a pc and won't changes

    it worked fine and the next time i went to use it the screen was blue and it said pc on and i do not have the manual

    it is the one i selected. i have tryyed to change the dial and nothing happenes and have tryed to reset it and remove the batterey also still nothing

Could you tell me the brand and model of your camcorder or is it the one you have selected?

Does your camcorder have a mode dial, change it to something else and turn it off and on.

Hi, maybe you can take a try of this rescue program called PowerSuite Golden. I came across similar blue screen situaiton on my HP laptop (win 7) and it helped me get rid of it and rescued my data back. It is an awesome toolkit that includes a boot CD and several other data rescue tools that help get your PC going even if Windows won't start or computer won't boot up at all. Lens cap error - blue screen JVC Camcorder GR-SXM25. I can playback but when i go to record I get a blue screen with the error.
Change CCD. If you are technically inclined you can do it, but take a lot of care not to damage flexible wires. Otherwise have it service by the company. Good luck

Sony DCR-TRV460 not playing back, blue screen
Follow this procedure to troubleshoot if a blue screen is displayed when attempting to playback video from the camcorder.
  1. Stop the tape.
  2. Ensure the tape has been rewound to the beginning of the video recording.
  3. Play the tape.
  4. If the issue is not resolved, stop the tape and remove it from the camcorder.
  5. Clean the video heads of the camcorder using a dry head cleaning cassette.IMPORTANT: Follow the instructions for use provided with the head cleaning cassette. It may be necessary to use the head cleaning cassette more than once per session.
  6. Reinsert the tape into the camcorder.
  7. Play the tape.
  8. If the issue is not resolved, stop the tape and remove it from the camcorder.
  9. Insert a different tape with video footage into the camcorder.
  10. Ensure the tape has been rewound to the beginning of the video recording.
  11. Play the tape.
NOTES:
  • If a blue screen is still displayed, then the camcorder may require service .
  • If the tape plays back correctly, then the first tape may be faulty or there is a problem with the video recording.

Blue screen
In the playback mode, the screen is suppose to be blue, till you start the tape playing, but if you get the blue screen in the record mode, I have not idea how to help you. You should see what the camera lens see, when in record mode.

Answer:what you do is you press the play/record button on the left side of the camcorder when it is open to get to the videos. then you use the laser touch operation to scroll to the video you want to delete. then, right under the screen there should be 5 buttons. the one to the left of the menu button has a picture of a garbage can looking thing above it. just press that and then press yes when it asks you if your sure.
