Software Problem!! Design task pane not popping up!!!!

I have had my machine since christmas, and I am in the middle of a project. When I send the design to the machine the window that should pop up showing which block to send; Doesn't pop up. If I try to resend the design it just informs me that I already have a design pending and that I must first cancel it. But since the task pane isn't popping up, I can even do this. Is there something that I can do to make the task pane appear?

Wow, I finally get to have a solution.
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Remove the hoop.
3. CAREFULLY slide the bar on the embroidery unit to the left.
4. CAREFULLY slide the piece where the hoop attaches toward you.
5. Turn on the sewing machine. The machine should take the unit to "standby" with a click.
6. Attach the hoop with the power on.
7. Exit the Futura software.
8. Restart the software.
This "should" fix the problem, however, you may have to repeat this process more than once to get it to "stick".

I had this happen to me as well, I'm not sure if I remember what I did to correct it but I think I left the frame in place and closed up the futura program and turned off my machine. waited a minute and reopened everything in the proper sequence. then reopened the design I was working on.

How do i restart monogram pattern when machine lost setting

If you don't have your user's manual, you can download it free from the Singer site. Unfortunately, though, while that info is in the manual, it's really not "put together" so it's easy to figure out. I'm going to assume that you were in the middle of sewing a monogram, and you had a power failure, for instance, which interrupted the transmission. Put the hoop with the project in it back on on the machine and open the Futura program. Retransmit the design, and in the machine navigator (the screen the pops up), use the arrow key on the right of the Send Block button to move to the block you were doing. Then click the Send Block button. Then go to the machine, and locate two buttons above the lit button (it should now be green). The first button directly above it is a reverse button--you don't want that one for this. The button above that is a forward or advance button. Press that button and keep your finger on it for 10 seconds or so, and when you take your finger off, you'll notice that it keeps moving forward in the block without sewing. Move to the area right before the section where you left off, and press that button again and it will stop. Now press the green button, and it will resume sewing where you left off. It's pictured on page 39 of your user's manual, and the PDF version is in a directory on your hard drive where your installation software is, under \manuals.

Machine embroidery needle changes position

truthfully I think their something wrong with the computer in the machine because
the bobbin locked up. sometimes when a sewing machine jams it can make
the machine jump time.
but the needle moved positions, some part of the machine is changed during the
jam up, even tho you reset it.
embroidery machine are expensive, my suggestion is to have the machine checked

Does the futura software from compucon allow you to wind the design forward so you can upload the design to the machine, and can continue embroidering the design to complete it. Reason why is had to...

You can skip color blocks that you have already embroidered. When you get to the one you were working on when the machine was turned off, send it to the machine and use the needle down button to advance the design to the point when you stopped. Then you can hit the green button and proceed.

Restarting a design in the middle but I turned my machine of , so it lost the uploaded design is there any way to restart a design in a specific point?

Start by removing the hoop from the machine (leave the fabric in the hoop!) and turning it on so the embroidery resets. Attach the hoop again and put the foot down. Load up the design and send it to the machine. Skip blocks until you get to the block you were on when you stopped. Send this block to the machine, but do not press the green "go" button. Press the "forward" (needle down) button to advance the design until you are a few stitches BEFORE your stopping point. Now you can press the "go" button.

I have windows xp with service pack 3. I installed futura software with no problem. When I go into design browser and try to open a document to send to the machine to sew it says "document failed to open"

Make sure your software is updated (Main menu->Help->Live Update) You should get a message "No new updates".

Make sure software supports design format your are trying to open (List of supported formats you will find in the manual).

If your software has the latest version and you are getting this error trying to open a design from older Futura version (extension .fhe), send it to Singer to check it for corruption.

I'm using the Mega Single Hoop for the Viking Designer SE embroidery machine, because my design is too long for any other hoop. When I try to embroider, however, I get the message "Design outside hoop...

1. If the design came from the internet or a design package, it's possible that it's "center" has not been centered properly. To correct this you need to open the design in the Husqvarna Viking software and click on the "Center in Hoop" icon. That function redefines the center of the design so it will align properly in any hoop that it fits within. If you have 3d software, after clicking on that icon you physically have to put the black crosshair that designates the center in the design, in the very middle of the hoop and then save the design to your computer, then send it to the machine. The 4d software automatically centers the design in the hoop when you click on the icon.

If you have the software and you "combine" any designs together you must always click on the center design icon to recalculate or redefine the center position and then move the design's center to the middle of the hoop before saving the design. This way you center the designs center positoin around the needle position. Meaning that when you hit the start button on the machine, where ever the needle is, is where the center of your design is.

I hope this helps

Futura CE-200 Stops in middle of design and says wrong hoop size

Dear cjnations
Firstly we must all remember that the CE200 is a very particular machine and requires that you follow certain procedures in order for it to run smoothly. When using the small hoop, firstly you must make sure that the small hoop is selected on the screen by going to Tools, Select Hoop & clicking on small frame. Once this has been done and the design selected, you must then attach the small hoop before sending the design to the machine. If you attach the hoop after sending the design, the machine will give you the error message.
Good Luck!
