A driver provided with canon laser shot lbp 2900 b is not supported by vista windows. So I can't install the printer and carry out my assignment.

The 2900 driver should work for the 2900E. The problem may be that there is a:

Canon SENSYS i-LBP-2900, and

Canon Laser Shot LBP-2900

Which printer do you have? Which driver did you download?
