Do you use a inverter.. or any protection circuit>
if so remove it and connect it directly
ok then problem is in your circuit board alone. all other components are very fine.
it tries to start every time and then shuts off itself right?
then wen it start s trying it shuts off due to some short in circuit.
this can be looked manually or can be checked with a meter.
this can be done manually by you if you are pretty handy in electronics.
else best way is to call a tech to clear this problem.

your machine is working in "ENERGY SAVER MODE"
this is the whole thing behind the problem.
just change the working mode. keep it in cool always.
that is the best.
i think all the units like that will be having different modes of working.
there wil be normally modes like warm, cool, enegry saver, and many other modes.
in energy saver mode only unit will shut down itself once the room gets cooled.
for the modes and how to change them you must refer to your user maual.
then why not you remove it from auto fan mode?

Not using an inverter. Only circuit protection is a surge protector which is plugged in to the electric pedestal outside.
Doesn't sound right. The unit will run continuously until it cools the room. Then it shuts down, is down for a very short time when it starts up again. It will run for a very short time with compressor and fan cooling the room. It runs for a very short time (one minute or less) when it shuts off again and the cycle continues in this fashion until I either push the thermostat down to keep it running or push it up to make it stop.
"Enery Saver Mode"? This is a new one to me. What is this and how do I change or re-set it to the "working mode"? Thanks
User manual does not have anything that refers to modes. The only setting that will shut off the unit after is cools is the "auto fan" setting. The fan can be set so that it shuts off after cooling or continues to run after reaching the set temperature. Having the unit set on auto fan is when the constant cycling problem occurs.
