Print driver for vista windows

I need a new Print Driver for Vista Windows. I had a Windows 2000 and the CD Print Driver worked fine several years ago. Now today, I upgraded to a Vista Windows, and the old Print Driver does not get recognized, and no hardware is found on the Image Class D760 Printer from Canon. I need a new Print Driver.

Thanks,
Randy

HP 3650 wont reinstall from disk. Disk is for XP, my computer is a Vista. How it was installed in the first place I dont know. Worked fine for a year. Help.

Hi,
according to the HP website, Vista has the correct driver already installed for this printer. Go here for more info:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01655752&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=au&product=304535&sw_lang=&os=2093#N1418

--------------------
From HP website:

Introduction The driver solution for this product is included in your Windows Vista operating system and is already on your computer. There is no need to download anything. Follow the steps below to quickly and easily get your product working with Windows Vista. The pre-installed (in-OS) Windows Vista driver supports basic printing features. With the basic print driver, the buttons on the product do not function and some of the advanced product features are not available. However, using the workaround procedures in this document, you can still print from a software program. You can also import and view images on a memory card, if your product has a memory card slot.Use the following instructions to install the basic print driver in Windows Vista, and then review the workaround procedures to use the available features for your product. Installing the print driver The method that you use to install the basic Vista print driver depends on whether you use a USB cable or a parallel cable to connect the product to the computer. Use the method for your type of cable .

Method one: USB cable connection When you connect the product to the computer, Windows Vista detects the hardware and automatically installs the correct print driver. A notification lets you know when installation begins and when it is complete. You do not have to download any software or insert the product CD.
  1. Turn the product on.
  2. Connect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable to the product and to the computer.
  3. A Your devices are ready to use window might display on the screen. If the window displays and does not close automatically, close the window.

Good luck,
Steve

I want driver for windows 7

It seems that Toshiba's latest driver for this device supports only Windows XP and Vista 32-bit.

Here are the links:
1. Scan/Print Driver, Win 2000/XP v2.30
2. Scan/Print Driver for Vista 32 bit
3. Button Manager for Vista 32 bit

Manufacturers usually drop support for older devices after some time. Specially for printers and scanners the support is even more limited; most of them (if not all of them) offer warranty of one year.

Your best shot is to try the Vista drivers. For printing you shouldn't have problems. When you install the printer Windows have generic drivers for supported (current/older) devices. This driver should work for printing.

For scanning you can try something like VueScan which is compatible with Windows 7. Toshiba devices are not in their list of compatible scanners, but you can never know...
Note that VueScan only works with SCSI, USB and Firewire connections, most wireless Canon and HP scanners (on Windows and Mac OS X only) and doesn't work with parallel-port connections.

This can be solved with a parallel to USB cable converter (be sure to check whether you need male or female parallel to male or female USB converter).

I hope this answers your request.

Printer won't print

Although Lexmark has not released a Windows Vista driver for the Lexmark X75 printer, there is a good chance that Vista will support your printer without the need for installing a driver (i.e. Windows Vista probably comes with a driver for your printer already built into the operating system). Windows Vista comes with support for 2.2 million devices and since your printer is not a new model, it is likely to be supported. Just try connecting it to a computer that is running Windows Vista and see if it is detected and installed for you.

We do have the drivers for Windows 2000 and Windows XP available for download from our driver database:

Please help me :(

Hello, you should uninstall the old 'printer' and old drivers, turn off your popup blocker, and reinstall the printer with the new Vista drivers for seres X2310, X2330, X2350.>>> Driver Download <<<
Click the link for a page with several driver options for Vista.

Print this page to a PDF file and save to your desktop for reference until you can print paper documents.

If you do not have a PDF print program, http://www.bullzip.com/ has a FREE (TOTALLY) WARE program for VISTA. I have installed, tested and yes, it works.

You may need to access the Run Command to initiate printing.
How to Access the Run Command in Microsoft Windows Vista Background

The Run command, which was available in the Start menu of Windows 2000 and Windows XP, is not visible in Windows Vista.

Accessing the Run command in Windows Vista

Most keyboards have a Windows key, usually located between the Ctrl and Alt keys. If you hold down the Windows key and press 'R', a Run prompt will appear.

This may be useful if you need to start msconfig in order to limit start items, or msinfo32 to gather system information files (files with a .nfo extension).

Msconfig has added a Tools section. Several common tasks can be managed from here, including Regedit, Event Viewer, System Information, Command Prompt, and Task Manager. To open one of these tasks, highlight the task and click Launch.

Couldn't install lexmark 8300 printer software on my window vista driver computer

Follow this link to the official Lexmark website and download the driver.
http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

If you can't follow that link, go to www.lexmark.com. On the top menu, there is a link called "Drivers and Downloads". Click it and select your series, then your OS system, and there you go.

The drivers for Vista are finally updated.

I had the same problem for about a year... now it works fine.
