I have an Epsos Stylus Photo R265 printer. I want to print a Word doc in b&w not colour. How do I turn the colour setting off for the printer? [email protected]

After pressing print, when you're on the print page, click "Printer Settings." You should have some color settings, one of them being black and white.

Epson Photo R265 Lines every 2.5 cm

Check status monitor see if cartridges are low or nearly empty , if new or full take out all cartridges and soak nozzles upright in cleaning solution overnight , or untill ink starts to bleed out:

Dab dry and re - fit , make up a A4 paper page with 6 colour bands about 1" high x 8" wide and print about 4 to 6 pages ,
check which colours are poor , if improvement is observed run
again a few times:

If one colour is poor take out that cartridge and soak again for a few hours , try again:

If no improvement replace with new cartridge or use a cleaning cartridge ( available on-line ) :

Using the head-cleaning utility shortens the life of the printer as the printer is set to lock-out after a pre-set use of the cleaning facility: and will have to be re-set instore:

Colour lines across the page

Hey Paul, Can you post a scan of the printed paper? It may help diagnose your problem. The most common cause of lines accross the page is either the PhotoConductor Unit or the 2ND BTR Assy.
