I have a problem in my dvd player. Model (DV-220KV-K). If i turn it on the dvd player the message appear on the tv screen is (region 1 region 2 region3region 4 region 5 region 6. Pick up any one of these). In dvd player screen message( E61). Could you please solve that problem.

Only one way to reflash on ur dvd player

Either try Pioneer or Google the model number with "remote" to see if you can locate one.

This a a known problem for this specific model, you would have to either take it back to where you bought it from or contact Pioneer for a replacement under warranty.

Region 1 is US/Canada. This is your only available region. If you put in a DVD from a different region, it will not work.

hey. the manual has its region codes. we have the same problem. my dvd player says re61 and i don't know how to key in the code... i tried to press the 4 number codes but doesn't work. arrgh. makes me wanna throw it!

The message remains on the screen ALL the time and I'm locked out of viewing anything. The remote is locked and so I cannot pick any of the region numbers!
