You can resort to iTunes to complete this task. Just follow the below steps.

However, the problem is that it is not a perfect way for how to transfer photos from computer to iPod touch. When you transfer photos from computer to iPod touch, iTunes will replace your old photos with new one and you will lose all previous photos. Still if you want to put photos from computer to iPod touch, you can follow steps below:
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer and open it. Connect your iPod to your computer via usb cable. You can find the ipod icon at the top-left.

Step 2: Click on your device icon on the top in the right side of music to get redirected to the summary page. Scroll down and check "Manually manage music and videos" in the options and click on Apply button.

Step 3: Now go to photos from the left side windows and click on it. After moving in the option click on "Sync photos from" and in the next box select the "Choose Folder" Option.

Step 4: Before starting syncing images from your computer to that folder, create this folder anywhere. Once folder created and images copied, click on Select Folder.

How do i transfer my pics frm my laptop on my ipod touch pls advise

Transferring photos from PC to iPod touch is not that difficult. iCloud and iTunes can both be helpful.
Using "Photo Stream" to sync photos automatically with iCloud is pretty convenient. Go to "Settings > iCloud > Photos (Photo Stream on iOS 6)" and then turn on My Photo Stream. Then get your iCloud started on your PC. In the iCloud Control Panel, Check the "Photos" and then enable the "Photo Stream" option. After that, import the photos into the "Photo Stream" folder on your PC, and then you will be able to view the photos on your iPod touch. Using iCloud to transfer photos from PC to iPod touch is easy, but this method needs Wi-Fi connection. Only over Wi-Fi connection can iCloud sync photo on PC with iPod touch.
transfer-pics-frm-laptop-ipod-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-3-0.png Using iTunes to sync photos with iPod touch is also easy. But you should be very careful of the syncing function of iTunes because it is a double-edge sword. Once wrong click, you may lose data in your iPod.
1. Plug your iPhone into computer via the USB cable. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically.
2. Find "File" option on the upper left corner. Then click "Add File to Library".
3. Select photos from your PC and then iTunes will sync the photos to iPhone automatically.

I have a 30GB Apple ipod classic. I have some photos in the ipod which i would like to copy from the ipod to my pc. i have enabled disc use on itune however still not able to find out how to do it . How do...

If you put photos using Itunes, you must select the option to include high resolution photos. This will create another folder in ipod, containing your photos and can be accessed using disk mode.
To use disk mode, the PC will assign your Ipod a drive letter. From there you can browse the files in your ipod.

Transferring pics from ipod video, 30gb back to laptop

I don't think that is possible. Its a one way thing where you can only put pictures from your computer into the IPod.

If it does work, click on your Ipod in Itunes and go to the pictures folder and see if it will let you drag and drop them.

If it does then it work but ITunes doesn't work that way under normal situations.

Can I view photos on my iPod photo/"Color"? nano?

Depending on the model, to view photos on your iPod photo/"Color", you either need to import photographs using Apple's iPod Camera Connector, or transfer images from your computer through iTunes 4.7 or higher to the iPod. For the current iPod U2 Special Edition "Color", iPod "Color" (20.0 GB), the version of the iPod photo (60 GB) introduced on February 23, 2005 and renamed iPod "Color" (60 GB) on June 28, 2005, as well as the discontinued iPod photo (30 GB), the simplest way to transfer photos from many digital cameras to your iPod is to purchase and use Apple's iPod Camera Connector (US$29). This device simply allows you to directly connect a digital camera to the camera connector and in turn connect the camera connector to the iPod "dock" port. Photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector are immediately viewable, with the exception of RAW format images and video clips. However, photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector cannot be immediately viewed as a slideshow with transitions. On versions of the iPod photo (40 GB, 60 GB) released prior to February 23, 2005, photos transferred directly from a digital camera using an iPod-compatible media reader are not immediately viewable, but photos transferred through iTunes 4.7 or higher, which converts photos into a "thumbnail" format, can be viewed on the iPod photo itself or displayed using the iPod photo connected to a TV or projector. The iPod nano, introduced September 7, 2005, can display photographs on the internal display "loaded" from a computer, but as it lacks video out, it cannot display photographs on a television or projector. The iPod nano also does not support the iPod Camera Connector or third-party solutions, so photos cannot be transferred from a camera. For information regarding the iPod nano and accessory compatibility, please refer to Apple Support
