The automatic clothes washing machine counts on a pressured water system - like what is provided in a town / city or from a well that has a pressure system to deliver water at pressure like when you open a valve for a bath tub, sink or shower.
You need to have a plumber provide valve/faucets for both hot and cold water. The valves are sometimes called a "hose bibb" with a threaded end that the hoses connect to and then are connected to the back of the washer. When the hoses are connected and the valves are open, the automatic washer will open a solenoid valve when the time is right to allow water to flow in, then closees. Some owners keep the hose bibb valves open forever after they connect the washer, others close the valves after they are done washing all loads for the day/week.
You will also need a drain provided that connects into the house plumbing. The Whirlpool Duet provides the drain hose from the washer which drops into the pipe the plumber provides. It is important that the drain pipe allow air to move past the washers drain hose, to allow proper draining.
Hope that helps. Please post back how things come out, OK?

How do I remove the handle to repair Robinhood laundry tubs tap.

First I'm not a Robinhood representative
* Check with your vendor (commercial contractor in this case) for service.
*** The following is for information only ***
* Generic Faucets; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PzntdvrYWU
* This looks like a commercial Tub; http://www.robinhood.com.au/tubs
* It does mention; "Most Supertubs incorporate a unique valve that allows installation in any water pressure situation (minimum 10 psi)." which usually means specialized tools are needed to remove.
* Though this image shows standard faucets (from Home Depot and Lowe's); https://www.pinterest.com/RobinhoodAus/robinhood-laundrys/
* Standard faucets (single or triple) can be removed by a regular plumber. Some will require a special faucet nut tool (like the one shown on the previous video.) But it your replacing the old faucet with the same model, you might want to ask the sales person if the tool already comes with the faucet? You will need it to install the new part.
* Take a picture of the faucet both top and under the sink to show the Plumbing parts store. They can show you the tools needed.
* Be safe and call a plumber.

I get error message that says "add water" -- how do I do that?

it should be automatic if your machine is plumbed in correctly, if it is not plumbed in a hose, supplied with the machine, should be connected to the cold kitchen tap to top up the machine when required.

Ex500isc displays error 20

Have you tried making sure the water entering the machine is very hot by running the attached faucet Mr. Burns?

We had this happen when we turned our water heater down to it's minimum setting and forgot to run the kitchen faucet (supply was also plumbed to the dishwasher) until fully heated up, then switching on the dishwasher.

Very little hot and cold water comes out when machine is on.

Hi. you may have a water pressure issue within the plumbing. i would call a plumber out just to make sure of this possible issue. Until then, you can check the water valve inlet screens for debris or any blockages in that area. Make sure the wall faucets are fully opened on both the hot and cold side. one more thing, if the plumbing and water inlet valve screens are OK and, the wall faucets are fully open, there may be a internal issue with the water valve assembly not opening fully. In this case, i would recommend replacing the water valve assembly.

Please rate and god bless:)
