My lenovo thinkpad laptop keeps dropping internet connection but the laptop says it's still connected
This sounds like bad wiring from the internet side, or noise on the line, which would drop the connection, but not enough to indicate it. Get the line checked to make sure it's a strong, clean signal. Good luck, hope this helps.
Have you tried un-installing the Lenovo Readycom software?
