press Clear mode, Press
1-0-7 and then hold down the stop cancel key
4sec.

You have to share the printer with others.

First fix fuser unit thermistor bad then service mode and rest set code

sc 307 is a charge bias error having to do with the yellow photoconductor unit (PCU). Replacing the yellow PCU should resolve your problem. If the problem persists even with a new PCU, you will likely need to have either the high voltage supply board or the drum positioning plate replaced.

SC542 means that the thermistor hasn't detected right temperature in given time.

Often you only have to reset service code.




Try this reset:

• Press and hold online + escape, then power on.
• Use up and down arrow keys to select SP2
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arror to locate SP5
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arrow keys to select 810
• Press Enter
• Confirm the selection
• Power off and on.

• Press Mode(The Yellow Button)
• Enter 107
• Press STOP Button for 3 second (RED Button)
• Copy Sp
• 5810#
• Execute
• Power Off
• Power On

Press "menu"
Use arrows to scroll to "list/test print", Press "ok"
use arrows to scroll to "Config. Page", Press "ok"
The page is printed, Press "menu" to return to main screen.

Total counter is on this page - top right corner I believe.

I just came across this post, you've likely solved it by now; However it is a "Toner density" error related to your cyan photoconductor. It is a defective connector. Replacing the cyan photoconductor should solve problem.

cyan problem --check if cyan pcu is set properly or replace cuan pcu(drum)

It is working now, however I had to have Ricoh come out they cleared up the error code and told me I needed a new transfer unit and black PCU. I got both items from a 3rd party and installed them problem did not go away. I called Ricoh, they sent their guy back out at n/c and he got it going after taking much of the machine apart but he was not very clear on exactly what caused the problem.

The thermister is located in the fuser section of the machine. It will slightly rub on the hot roller, or fusing belt.
