Reinstall the printers drivers, that might help.
If you do not have them on a disc, just visit hp.com and go to drivers & support.

I have an old computer/printer hp pavilion mx 70/hp psc 750. I cannot print documents from computer to printer. I have unplugged everything but still no luck. Have removed all printers and reset my printer as default. Any ideas?

when you choose copy option that time choose the option 100 % or you change the setting of copy by set in menu got to copy setting and set the default option.

A friend of mine had a HP printer (Not a PSC 750) that he had simply plugged into his computer and was able to print properly but received the "options not set" message when he tried to scan.

The solution was to install the HP driver package for his printer.

If you are using the default Windows drivers for your printer you may need to install the HP driver package to access all of your printers functions.

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.

my computer said that it did not have it on the computer I've used the CD .

Dear sir, I have hp all-in one printer, copier, scanner Model. While suppled to DC 18V power supply Printer disply shows First massege "Inisillation" later Shows Error C402. I have contact local repairer who had told me to replace logic card of printer which costing is approx. 2/3 of new one. Kindlyhelp me in this matter & if Possible Let me now can the error C402 is due to logic fault ? Regards, B.A.Thakker.
