If the ground spring located on the left inside wall of the printer is ok, and you have tried cleaning all the ground contacts on the cartridge, then it may just be a bad toner cartridge. Especially if it's a third party cartridge and/or especially if this problem happened right after or shortly after installing a new cartridge.
this error comes when the printer not reco the cairtages & drum if u replaced the print cairtages then replace the drum & calibrate the printer & restore the factory default.
Yes, you will need to replace the drum unit as well. be sure to shop around so you can get the best price because some people mark up the price for that part. You can check the status of your supplies from the printer itself by pushing the "menu" button the printer and scrolling through until you see something about supplies status then press the check mark button.
Does it work with this error....if so you wanna
make sure that you have a HP cartridge, sometime the chipset is not recongnize....and you have some function that doesn't work. If you try all this, call HP.
