I had a similar issue with my LG Tromm. The problem with mine, was the latch was worn and opening just enough to shut the dryer off, leaving the light inside on. I placed a thick self adhesive felt chair leg pad on the dryer door where the dryer plunger touches the door. It has been working great for 4 months now.I had a similar issue with my LG Tromm. The dryer is telling you what is wrong with it. Count the number of flashes the drying, cooldown, pressaver and clean filter light are flashing then count the number of times the control/start light is flashing. That will give you the error code number.
the blinking filter light is just a reminder, not connected to anything. goes out when you start cycle. however, if the dryer overheated then it may have blown the thermistor fuse. check out appliancepartspros.com or repairclinic.com for how to videos and parts.
I had the same problem, Check Filter light blinking and beeping, could not select drying type or start dryer. Short story, turned out to be the Less time button was stuck pushed in. Long story, a week before I had replaced the drum rollers and belt, everything was working fine for the week after then this problem. Totally by accident, after trying all the recommended actions (unplugging, pushing buttons, etc.) leaning on the right front corner would stop the beeping and allow the machine to work. Pushing all the buttons, I found the Less time button would not click. Apparently, when I took the control panel off to change the rollers and belt I flexed the control panel enough to misaligne the button and switch. Pulling the back of the control panel loose and making sure the push button and switch were aligned and working correctly everything works fine now.
Hi friend,,, welcome to fixya try to unplug it for 30 minutes this should reset the control board. and clear any errors it has. and may start working again. let me know how it goes
OR
try this to get it in diagnostic test mode have the dryer in standby mode then press and hold more time and less time and then press the power button to get out of this mode you will have to unplug the unit for at least 1 minute
The check filter light comes on every load to remind you to clean the lint filter. Cooling only happens when that light is flashing not when it's on solid. If this is a gas dryer check the exhaust hose and vent on the outside of the house. If it is blocked it will not let the unit get to the correct temp due to cycling.
dryer lights flashing wont trun on...
