There are different codes depending on whether the Tivo was set to respond as a specific device (1 or 2) on the remote or by standard default (device 0). Also, typically each universal remote has its own code for each device, which is specific to the remote, not the device you wish to control. For the $20.00, it might not be a bad thing to simply buy a new universal remote that is capable of controlling a PVR (There are many good ones out there).
Humax are having problems and are starting to send out software upgrades (night-time updates) - seems to be related to the new formats on the MUXs for the digital switch-over. Our 9150T hasn't been fixed yet but due any day (I hope)
For the TIVO series 2: hit the TIVO button, then go to messages and settings, then to to video input, then go to change input, then pick which input your camera uses. It will ask you if you can see the picture. If you can click the answer and then hit the select button. Then hit the TIVO button again then hit watch live tv.
The Humex should work very similar.
My solution is going to require entering the unit, so you may want a qualified service tech to perform the job, but i would check the connection between the burner and the board.
Try taking the cover off and taking an air compressor and blowing it out real good. I have the exact same one and I had the exact same problem and after i blew it out it worked like new.
